Banana Chunk Chocolate Chip Kodiak Cake


Go bananas over this chunky chocolatey protein treat!

The banana sets the tone with a wet and fruity surprise hidden inside of every bite.

The rich dark chocolate along with the chocolate chips gives the cake a sweet taste for an overall delightful experience.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving (53g) of Kodiak Cakes Dark Chocolate Flapjack Mix

  • 1 scoop of Chocolate Chip flavored Protein Powder

  • 1 serving (32g) Special K Protein Cereal

  • 1 large Banana

  • 1 tsp of Cinnamon

  • 1 tsp of Nutmeg

  • 60 milliliters of Silk Almond Milk

  • 1 Egg

  • 3 tbsp (46g) of Liquid Egg White

  • Oven

  • Blender

  • Bowl

  • Cast Iron Skillet

  • Non-Stick Spray


Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Grab a large bowl and mix the dry ingredients together. Kodiak Cakes Mix (53g), Protein Powder (1 scoop), Cinnamon (1 tsp), and Nutmeg (1 tsp).

  3. Use a blender to crush the Special K (32g) until it's in a powder like consistency and add it to the bowl with the dry ingredients,

  4. Begin mixing your wet ingredients into the same blender by pouring 1 cup (240mL) of Almond Milk.

  5. Add 1 egg and (46g) of Liquid Egg Whites to the blender.

  6. Lastly, cut up 1 large Banana into small chunks and mix into the bowl of wet ingredients.

  7. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir evenly.

  8. Grab a cast iron skillet and spray with non-stick spray.

  9. Pour ingredients into skillet and shake the pan until even.

  10. Bake for 15 min.

  11. Check the middle of the cake with a knife to see if it was cooked evenly.
