Utensils

  • Toaster Oven or Stove Pot

  • Large Bowl #1 and #2

  • Small Bowl

  • Sifter

  • Coconut Oil Non-Stick Spray

  • Small Cast Iron Skillet

 

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (80g) of Oikos Triple Zero Greek Yogurt

  • 1/2 cup (80g) of Unsweetened Applesauce

  • 1 tbsp. (14g) of Melted Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

  • 1 tbsp. (14g) of Browned Butter

  • 1/8 cup (24g) of Coconut Sugar

  • 1 large Egg

  • 1 large Egg Yolk

  • 1/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (75g) of Kodiak Cake Waffle Mix

  • 1/2 scoop (30g) of Casein+

  • 1/2 scoop (30g) of Whey+

  • 1/4 cup (45g) of Coconut Flour

  • 1/4 tsp. Nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. Espresso Powder

  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Powder

  • 1/4 tsp. Baking Soda

  • Dash of Salt

Ingredients for Toppings

  • 30g Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Preheat stove to low heat with small stove pot or toaster oven.

  3. Add (14g) of Butter & (14g) of Coconut Oil to a small bowl and begin browning by periodically stirring the butter.

  4. Grab Large Bowl #1 and sift the dry ingredients together. Kodiak Brownie Mix (75g), Protein Powder (60g), Coconut Flour (45g), Baking Powder (1/4 tsp), Baking Soda (1/4 tsp), Espresso Powder (1/4 tsp), Cinnamon (1/4 tsp),

    Nutmeg (1/4 tsp) and Salt (Dash).

  5. When the Butter turns into a golden brown color, take it off the stove to cool.

  6. Grab Large Bowl #2 and blend the Coconut Sugar (25g) with the browned oil mixture.

  7. Individually add then blend together the Egg (1), Egg White (1), Apple Sauce (80g), Oikos Yogurt (80g), and Vanilla (1 tsp) to the mixture.

  8. Add the dry ingredients from Large Bowl #1 into the wet ingredients in Large Bowl #2 and blend a little bit until combined. It’s okay for there to be a bit of unmixed flour on the edge of bowl, this will be incorporated in the next step.

  9. Using a wooden spoon, fold the Chocolate Chips (30g) into the dough.

  10. (Optional) Refrigerate dough for 60 min (Best Results) or freeze for 10 minutes.

  11. Grab a cast iron skillet or baking pan and spray with non-stick spray.

  12. Bake for 16 min.

  13. Eat warm for the best flavor and enjoy with some Halo Top ice cream!
