The Ultimate Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Protein Combination!


If you’ve ever wondered what a @Reeses Peanut Butter Cup would taste like if it was a @KodiakCakes , then this is it!

This protein packed dessert has a rich dark chocolate shell made of a soft butter like texture. On the inside hides a sweet melted peanut butter surprise that’ll make you want to devour the chocolatey exterior that engulfs it.

Total Time - 1 Hour

 

Utensils

  • Food Scale

  • Small Stove Pot

  • Large Bowl #1 and #2

  • Small Bowl

  • Sifter

  • Coconut Oil Non-Stick Spray

  • Small Cast Iron Skillet or Small Baking Pan

 

Wet Ingredients for Chocolate Shell

  • 1 tbsp. (14g) of Melted Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

  • 1 tbsp. (14g) of Browned Butter

  • 1/2 serving (50g) of Brown Sugar

  • 1/2 serving (35g) of Apple Sauce

  • (80 mL) of Almond Milk

  • 1 Egg

  • 1/4 tsp. of Vanilla

Dry Ingredients for Chocolate Shell

  • 1 serving (54g) of Kodiak Cakes Dark Chocolate Flapjack Mix*

  • (42g) of Almond Flour

  • 2 tbsp. (10g) of Hershey's 100% Cacao Powder

  • 1/2 scoop (15g) of Legion Chocolate Peanut Butter Whey+

  • 1/2 scoop (17g) of Legion Vanilla Casein+

  • 1/4 tsp. of Baking Powder

  • 1/4 tsp. of Baking Soda

  • Dash of Salt

  

Wet Ingredients for Peanut Butter Filling

  • 2 tbsp. (32g) of Peanut Butter

  • 40 mL of Silk Protein Almond Milk

  • 35g of Apple Sauce

 

Dry Ingredients for Peanut Butter Filling

  • 4 tbsp. (32g) of Organic PB Fit

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Preheat stove to low heat with small stove pot.

  3. Add (14g) of Butter to the stove top and begin browning by periodically stirring the butter.

  4. Grab Large Bowl #1 and sift the dry ingredients together.

    Kodiak Brownie Mix (53g), Protein Powder (32g), (42g) of Coconut Flour, Cacao Powder (0.5 oz), Baking Powder (1/4 tsp), and Baking Soda (1/4 tsp)

  5. Grab Small Bowl #1 and microwave the Coconut Oil (14g) until melted.

  6. When the Butter turns into a golden brown color, take it off the stove to cool.

  7. Grab Large Bowl #2 and mix the wet ingredient together.

    Browned Butter, Melted Coconut oil, Brown Sugar (50g), Apple Sauce (35g), Almond Milk (80g), Egg (1), Vanilla (1 tsp)

  8. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients from Large Bowl #1 and #2 and mix until smooth consistency.

  9. Using Small Bowl #1, mix the wet ingredients for the peanut butter filling until smooth

    Peanut Butter (32g), Almond Milk (40mL) and Apple Sauce (35g)

  10. Add the PBFit (32g) to the wet ingridient mixture.

  11. Grab a cast iron skillet or baking pan and spray with non-stick spray.

  12. Pour 1/2 of the Chocolate Shell mixture into skillet and shake the pan until even.

  13. Pour the Peanut Butter Filling mixture evenly on top.

  14. Cover the Peanut Butter filling with the other 1/2 of the Chocolate Shell mixture.

  15. Bake for 18 min.

  16. Eat warm for the best flavor and enjoy!
